Push Make Up & K2 Hair Masterclass

I am pretty new to the whole blogging side of things and terrible at meeting new people, So when I seen that K2 hair and Push makeup were coming to Donegal to do a masterclass I knew I had to go.

I have followed the lovely Katrina on snapchat as ages and always wanted to attend a masterclass to learn some tips and tricks, so this one was perfect.

The masterclass was held on Sunday 10th April in the Jackson Hotel in Ballybofey. I decided to order my ticket and was delighted when another blogger from my area said she was going too.

So Alison and myself set sail on our way to Ballybofey! We had soo many giggles on the way down.. we even drove past the hotel, did a big circle and then found it lol

The hotel was BEAUTIFUL! It had a titanic feel to it with a big staircase covered in thick purple carpet and amazing chandeliers. The room where the masterclass was held was just the perfect size, it was small and personal, which gave a nice relaxed feel.

When we took our seats, there was a little Push goodie bag sitting on top of them... eeeek I couldn't wait to dive in and see what we had got. Inside there was an amazing 30 euro voucher from K2 Hair for a hair treatment of choice, 2 Push Makeup items, a BB04 brush from Buff & Blend, joico hair goodies, primark goodies and other bits and bobs!!

Out came Katrina and her team and gave amazing hair and make up demos, in the break we had sandwiches and prosecco (of course!) and then back in for more demos.

In the interval there was an opportunity to have a look at the Push makeup range and also a range of products from Joico, including Katrina's favourite 'Hair Shake' which I had to get for research purposes of course ;)

I also treated myself to Black Caviar and Bonnie from the BFF collection. These two items were however out of stock so the lovely team took my name, address and order and posted these items out free of charge :D

The packing of the parcels is truly stunning... the attention to detail is just perfect, from the branded tissue paper, to the silver branded ribbon. I am a sucker for nice packaging!

Black Caviar and Bonnie

I had a fantastic day from start to finish. I learned so much from the hair and makeup demonstrations and Katrina and her team were amazing, so down to earth and easy to approach, even coming around in the interval to say thank you for coming!

If anyone is thinking of going to one of Push makeup & K2 Hairs masterclasses I would recommend it as you will not be disappointed!!

Push makeup and K2 Hair are both on fb and can be found at push makeup and k2hairsalon

Thanks for reading about my little day out :)

Lots of Love...

Holos Rich Night Cream

Hello Again :)

A couple of weeks ago I featured the Holos rich night cream in my top review section on my radio blog show and I am now getting around to doing this post :)

The lovely creator of Holos Skincare, Niamh Hogan has been a practicing Aromatherapist and Natural Health practitioner since 2003. None of Holos products are tested on animals and are all made of natural plant extracts.

Firstly I have to say how pretty the packaging was, the cream came wrapped in a cute little blue tissue paper package with a straw bow.

I was excited to try this brand and was kindly gifted the 'Good Night' cream, which was perfect as my skin changes so much one night its dry and the next night its oily, and as the Holos rich night cream is made from essential oils and natural products I was hoping it would be beneficial to my skin.

And...... I was right... it was!!

The cream has a thick creamy texture that is easily applied and dries in nicely. The fragrance of the cream is Lavender, Chamomile & Rose. I would say that the scent is really strong so if you don't like the smell of lavender this cream definitely isn't for you!

I felt like I was in a spa when I applied the cream, my face felt soft and the smell was soo relaxing and soothing, it didn't take me long to fall asleep :)

In the morning my face was glowing, I could still smell the lavender and just felt like I had such a good sleep, I am guessing its all the natural oils!

I used the product every night for over 2 weeks and the results just kept getting better and better! If you have dry skin this cream will sort that for you as your skin feels soo hydrated in the morning.

I am really impressed with the Holos night cream and will be purchasing some more products from the brand in the future!

50ml - £13.20 / €16.60

If you want to see any more of the range or read up on any of the ingredients used in the products you can visit the website HERE or you can visit Holos facebooktwitter or instagram

Hope you enjoyed this little blog post :D

Welcome to the world Mason

Hello Again

It's been a while since I was last on here, but the reason for that is I have been busy doing blog stuff, it was my Birthday but most importantly.... I became an Auntie to the most beautiful little baby boy called Mason.

Little Mason was born on Monday 28th March weighing in at just over 8 lbs.  Monday seemed to last forever but finally at 11.30pm at night we got the phone call to say he had arrived safe and well.

I couldn't wait to see him for a little cuddle but due to work and car trouble I didn't get to see him for a few days, but it was well worth the wait. He is just the most lovely little boy, who is as good as gold and never seems to cry!!

I got loads of cuddles and kisses.. and of course pictures lol

So just in case you were wondering why I hadn't posted any updates on here or fb, it's because I have just been too busy with family. :)

I promise not to post too many pictures, but he's way too cute too not share with you all :D

Lots of Love...
